Florida Mom Used Baby as a Weapon to Beat Boyfriend

According to witnesses, Tatyana Allen got angry when her baby daddy refused to walk her to the bathroom. Instead of using her words (or even her own fists) to make her disappointment clear, she grabbed her child and swung him repeatedly at the man. The baby was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Allen was booked on charges of battery and infliction of physical/mental injury on a child
“Pure Evil” Stepmom Kills Her Husband’s Son in a Scalding Bath
25-year-old Anna Ritchie was indicted on charges of murder, assault, and endangering a child, for putting her four-year-old stepson in a scalding hot bath. Apparently trying to punish the boy, and not wanting to be a stepmother in the first place, she held him down in the bath for 20 minutes, then sent him to bed. She ignored his screams in the night, and ordered her husband to do the same. The father finally check on the boy in the morning and found him dead. The boy’s grandmother described Ritchie as “pure evil.”
Florida Mom Leaves Children in Car, Six-Year-Old Son Beats Newborn Daughter to Death
“It was one of the worst things I’ve ever seen,” said Pinellas County Sheriff Bob Gulatieri upon finding a 13-day-old girl beaten to death by her six-year-old brother when the two were left in a car (with their three-year-old brother) by mother Kathleen Steele. The incident took place in August 2016, and resulted in charges of aggravated manslaughter and neglect for Steele.
The 62-year-old Steele gave birth to her first child at age 56 and, after her husband died of cancer, used his frozen sperm to have two more children. Ten days previous to the baby’s death, Steele was investigated by child services after taking the newborn to the hospital with a brain bleed, which resulted from Steele dropping the child on her head while running down stairs away from a fire.
The six-year-old claims he was attempting to stop his sister from crying. According to a report on the incident from CBS News, “…deputies said the boy later used a doll to show how he repeatedly slammed the infant’s head into the minivan’s ceiling, dropping her on the floor, flipping her over and pummeling her.”
Miami Mom Leaves Young Daughter in Burning Building
When 32-year-old Erica Rosello’s Miami condo unit caught on fire, her neighbors found her outside – ignoring her five-year-old daughter’s screams for help. By the time firefighters arrived on the scene, smashed open the child’s bedroom window, and carried her to safety, Rosello had fled the scene. The girl, who had fallen unconscious at the time of rescue, was hospitalized and treated for smoke inhalation. Rosello reportedly has previous arrests for neglect and drunk driving on her record.
Texas Mom, Boyfriend Tie Up and Waterboard Her Son for Allegedly Molesting Family Dog
When a Kemp, Texas, youngster admitted to his mother’s boyfriend that he’d “inappropriately touched” the family dog, his punishment was swift and severe. Casey Shackleford and the boy’s mom, Christi Howell, pinned the boy down, put a towel over his face, and poured cold water over it. They followed this by tying his genitals and neck with a “pig rope” and pulling him around the room. The child, whose age was specified only as “under 14,” told investigators his mother had abused him with a stick in the past.
Dad Forces Toddler Son to Kneel on Legos Until He Bleeds
Brooklyn’s Leonardo Decouite, 22, was arrested for a string of particularly heinous abusive acts to his three-year-old son, including forcing the child to kneel on Lego pieces until he bled. Police say Decouite also beat his son with a wire, burned his feet, and shot him with a pellet gun, resulting in four counts of felony assault.
Three-Year-Old Girl Living in Filthy Apartment Tells Cops: “I Need a Beer”
The conditions under which this Lubbock, Texas, toddler was living were so atrocious – bedbugs, cockroaches, moldy dishes, and general filth – that the three-year-old told police, “I need a beer,” when they arrived to investigate a neighbor’s complaint. The child needed more than a drink: she was found roaming her apartment complex barefoot and dirty. The girl’s mother, 42-year-old Sandra Bennett, was charged with abandoning and endangering her child.
Japanese Dad Kills His Son for Failing a Test
In August 2016, 48-year-old Kengo Satake stabbed his son, Ryota, to death with a kitchen knife after the boy failed a school entrance exam. Satake claimed the murder was an accident, though admitted to having argued many times before with his 12-year-old son about his studying habits.
Ryota was taking exams to hopefully place in a top private school in the Aichi prefecture, where the family lived. The region is in central Honshu, between Tokyo and Osaka. Satake’s wife, the boy’s mother, was at work at the time of the stabbing. Ryota lived long enough to be taken to the hospital, where he bled to death.
Japanese Parents Leave Son in Woods as Punishment
Takayuki Tanooka and his wife left their seven-year-old son in a remote part of the woods near Shikabe, Japan to teach him a lesson about being naughty. When the boy inevitably got lost, rescuers searched with little hope of finding him. Thankfully he managed to wander to safety after days alone. “My excessive act forced my son to have a painful time,” Tanooka said. (No duh.) “I deeply apologize to people at his school, people in the rescue operation, and everybody for causing them trouble. I have poured all my love into my son, but from now on, I would want to do more, together with him. I would like to protect him while he grows up.” Here’s hoping he does a better job in the future.

Parents Trample Kids for Candy at PEZ Easter Egg Hunt
Jesus may be the reason for the Easter season, but for parents at the annual Easter egg hunt at the PEZ visitors center in Connecticut, the real focus was on the candy. In 2016, adults at the supposedly kid-friendly event ignored rules for hunt start times and turned the whole thing into a “mess.” According to PEZ’s Facebook, “The crowd moved to the second field, waited for only a couple of minutes and proceeded to rush the field without being directed to do so and before the posted start time.”
According to some visitors, young kids ended up bruised and bloodied from the stampeding crowd. The ones who managed to make it out unharmed had to deal with broken Easter baskets and stolen candy.

The elder Headrick, who was biking along with his son, came up behind the cop and hit him in the head. Both men then beat the officer before fleeing on their bikes.
